Oakland Athletics

The hockey team are the ACHA D2 National Champions, it was an great effort by the team and we had fun in New York with them, they are indded moving to ACHA Division one and we have all season discussed what it would take for that to happen and Stevie let it slip once earlier that is will happen but we forgave him for that. Our sports Department is also upgrading in a number of ways and sometime this summer we hape to have an announce on our new Oakland Hockey broadcast format that we are currently working on. Audio from our various sporting shows and hockey games are on WXOU Sports

Tomorrow we are in Indiana for the Women's Basketball game vs Ohio State in the NCAA Tournament. 9pm on 88.3FM and www.wxou.org
